All day course in pit-firing. 10AM – 6PM
Brandon goes over how to safely and efficiently fire a hand-made pot.
10am-12pm:Demonstrating how to make a pot from wild native clay and wicking the pots until bone dry.
12pm-2pm: Instruction on introducing your hand made pot to the fire and explaining basic principles to ensure a safe and successful firing.
2pm-5:30pm: Surrounding the pots in coal and flame until they are ready to make direct contact.
5:30pm-6pm: Pulling out pottery and applying organic materials to pot
